Qatar's e-government, working for you.
Qatar has digitised much of its administration: Hukoomi is the national portal where hundreds of government services live online. The catch is that digital does not mean self-explanatory.
Hukoomi gathers procedures from across ministries — commercial matters, residency-linked services, documents, utilities, permits — behind a single national login. Used well, it replaces mornings at service counters with minutes at a keyboard. Used badly, it produces a special kind of frustration: applications stuck in a status nobody explains, in an interface that assumes you already know the process behind it.
That process knowledge is what we sell. Our team in Doha works in these portals daily — Hukoomi for the broad government catalogue, the ministry systems behind it, Metrash2 for immigration matters. We set up your accounts and authentications correctly the first time, file your procedures on the portal where they actually belong, and track statuses so a stuck application is chased, not discovered.
For companies, this dovetails with PRO services: the portal work is one layer of keeping a company compliant. For individuals and families, it stands alone — from document requests to utility and permit matters, handled in your language, with the Arabic side covered.
One habit pays for itself immediately: treating portal accounts as infrastructure. The national login, the company's portal profile and the linked contact details are the plumbing every future procedure flows through — set up once, correctly, they save an hour on every filing that follows; set up casually, they fail at the exact moment a deadline depends on them. We build that plumbing first, then file through it.
How it works, step by step
- 01
Map your procedures to the right portals
Company or personal, we list what you need done and where it actually lives — Hukoomi, a ministry system or Metrash2. Half the frustration is filing in the wrong place.
- 02
Set up accounts and authentication
National authentication and portal accounts created and verified correctly the first time, because a broken login blocks everything behind it.
- 03
Prepare each application
Forms, attachments and prerequisite documents assembled per procedure — complete before submission, so the file does not bounce.
- 04
Submit and track
Applications go in, reference numbers are logged, and statuses are checked on a rhythm. A stuck file is chased with the right office.
- 05
Close and archive
Certificates and approvals are retrieved, stored and handed over — and anything recurring goes onto the compliance calendar.
Documents you will need
- QID or passport of the applicant
- Company CR and Computer Card for corporate procedures
- Existing portal account details, if any
- The specific documents each procedure requires — we list them per case
- Power of attorney where filings are made on your behalf
Is this the right route for you?
A good fit if
- Companies that want portal procedures handled inside their PRO coverage
- New residents facing their first Qatari e-government procedures
- Founders abroad who need filings progressed without flying in
- Anyone with an application stuck in an unexplained status
Not the right route if
- You enjoy learning government portals and have the time — many procedures are genuinely self-service once understood
- The procedure legally requires your personal presence — we prepare you for it, but cannot replace you
- You need legal advice on a refused application — that is counsel's territory; we handle process
- One password reset — ask us, but it does not need an engagement
Frequently asked
What is Hukoomi?
Hukoomi is Qatar's national e-government portal, gathering hundreds of services from across ministries — commercial, residency-linked, documents, utilities, permits — behind a single login. It is the front door to most of Qatar's digital administration.
What is the difference between Hukoomi and Metrash2?
Hukoomi is the broad national portal; Metrash2 is the Ministry of Interior's app focused on immigration and residency matters. Many journeys touch both — knowing which procedure lives where is half the work.
Can you handle portal procedures without me?
Mostly yes — with the right authorisations and a power of attorney where required, filings proceed without your presence. Steps that legally need you in person are flagged and scheduled around you.
My application has been stuck for weeks. Can you unblock it?
Usually — stuck statuses tend to have mundane causes: a missing attachment, a mismatch in details, a step pending at another office. We diagnose where it actually sits and chase the right counter.
Do I need Hukoomi as an individual, or only for my company?
Both lives touch it. Companies use it for commercial procedures; residents use it for documents, utilities and permits. Setting up your personal access properly is part of settling in — it is on our relocation checklist.
Is this the same as PRO services?
It is one layer of them. PRO services cover the full government-facing operation of a company, counters included; Hukoomi support is the digital-portal slice, available standalone when that is all you need.
Are the portals available in English?
Largely yes — Hukoomi runs in English and Arabic. But the processes behind the interface follow Arabic-language regulation, and support or correspondence can arrive in Arabic. We cover that side for you.
How do you charge for portal work?
Per procedure or as part of ongoing PRO coverage — both quoted before work starts. A one-off filing does not need a subscription, and we will not sell you one for it.
